In 2024, I had a blast launching THE NOTES at independent bookstores like Porter Square Books and RJ Julia. I also taught a few creative writing classes and signed books at a few libraries, and I Zoomed into a Women of Color Reading Women of Color book club who were eating Ethiopian food together and asking excellent questions about the book. I loved talking with readers at the Chester Sunday Market and Deep River Roasters. And I paid a super special visit to my alma mater, the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities, which inspired The Notes! Many thanks to those spaces for hosting me and for enjoying and relating to the stories of Claire, Rocky, and Dr. Li.

Through fall and winter 2024, I am still available to teach creative writing, do a reading and Q&A, or do an author meet & greet. Head over to the Contact page if you’re interested.

In 2025, I’ll be visiting Choate Rosemary Hall, as well as other schools, bookstores, libraries, and probably some more unconventional book hangs. Will keep you posted!
